Prague, 13 January 2017: In a public offering running from 18 October 2016 to 13 January 2017, Moravská stavební – INVEST, a.s. issued a total of 320,000,000 bonds with a nominal value of CZK 320,000,000, maturing in December 2021. It appointed Conseq Investment Management, a.s. as lead manager of the bond issue, with C Corporate Finance spol. s r.o. as its financial adviser.
The bonds carry a fixed yield to maturity on a discount basis of 5.5% p.a. “The lead manager offered the bonds to both institutional and retail investors. The nominal value of one bond was set at CZK 1, with a minimum investment of CZK 20,000. The first phase of the public offering ran from 18 October 2016 to 25 November 2016, and the second phase began on 26 November 2016 and ended on 13 January 2017 with the issue of the second tranche of bonds. We were very pleased by the great interest investors showed in our purely Czech development company. The issue was fully subscribed in a relatively short period, which became the impulse for us to think about the financing of future projects,” says Petr Malík, Chief Financial Officer of Moravská stavební – INVEST, a.s., of the bond issue. The bonds were issued as book-entry securities in the Central Securities Depository.
The proceeds of the bond issue will be used for investments in development projects in preparation and for the refinancing of certain liabilities of the MSI Group, i.e. Moravská stavební – INVEST, a.s. and the other companies belonging to the group.
