Moravská stavební – INVEST, a.s. is the first to raise capital through real-estate crowdfunding.
Prague, 7 August 2017: Moravská stavební – INVEST, a.s. has become a pioneer of property “crowdfunding” and will be the first in the Czech Republic to use capital raised from small investors through an online platform. On 4 August 2017, investing was publicly launched through the first real-estate crowdinvesting platform in the Czech Republic, www.upvest.cz, into the Rezidence U Grébovky project.
Property crowdinvesting is very popular abroad. It is an innovative way of raising capital for property projects. “For us, crowdfunding through upvest.cz in the form of mezzanine loans is an interesting financial product in the long term, above all thanks to the simplicity and speed of raising the funds. We also see certain synergies in connection with the marketing of the project,” says Petr Malík, Chief Financial Officer of Moravská stavební – INVEST, a.s.
The Rezidence U Grébovky project is already under construction, and investors can earn a net return of 5% p.a. (before tax) with an expected investment maturity of thirteen months. The whole investment process takes place online, and the minimum investment has been set at CZK 5,000.
